Documents Required
Individuals
- Original Emirates ID provided by the seller (the substitute of the Emirates ID is the passport)
- Genuine Emirates ID from the vendor (the substitute of the Emirates ID is the passport)
- If the buyer is a diplomat, he should provide the following information: A valid diplomatic card and a letter from the Foreign Ministry are required.
- If the buyer is an expat and his stay visa (residence) is supported by the Oil and gas fields Supply Centre, he must provide the following information: Vehicle registration requires a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- Vehicle insurance using electronic means
- If the car is mortgaged, adding the mortgages or redemption of the electronic mortgages at the banks
- Certificate of Vehicle Technical Inspection
- If the seller wishes to preserve the plate numbers, they must be sent to the centre.
- Report to the police if one or both licence plates are missing, or if the bike's licence plate is missing.
- Technical assessment of classic automobiles at the Motor Tour Club Technical Centre
Commercial
- Formal letter in Arabic, a copy of the trading licence, a court-certified validation of signature and authorization letter.
- Vehicle insurance using electronic means
- If the car is mortgaged, adding the loan or paying the electronic mortgages at the bank.
- Certificate of Vehicle Technical Inspection
- NOC from authorities like the Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone and JAFZA.
- If the seller wishes to preserve the plate numbers, they must be sent to the centre.
- If one or both licence plates are missing, or if the bike's licence plate is lost, the police will issue an electronic report.
