Business like restaurants, cafeterias, food trade, bakeries, catering centres, kindergarten, sports centres, health clubs, salons, spas, groceries, wood polishers, printing press employees, etc. all require an Occupational Health Card. The Dubai Health Authority is the one who issues it.
Within 30 days of his or her arrival/status change, a new employee must apply for this card. If you are seeking OHC after thirty days, you must present your Visa Medical Certificate Of fitness when doing so. This only applies if the visa hasn't been marked on the passport.
If the male/female employee is outside the UAE and his Occupational Health Card is about to expire, he or she must renew it within five working days after entering the country. In UAE, the authorities like DHA and MOHAP offer Occupational Health Cards.
