In order to properly launch a civil lawsuit in the UAE, the claimant or their legal representation must submit a "statement of claim" together with supporting papers to the court's Case Management Office or electronically. A Copy of the plaintiff's claim will be sent to the defendant so that they can prep for the legal procedures as well. The following will be included in the claim statement:
If the matter involves contract revocation, validation, or nullification, a copy of the contract is necessary.
The business licence, email, makaani number, and information of any outstanding cases against the firm must all be registered if the case is about commercial difficulties.
If any of the decisions are based on international concerns, the UAE Ministry of Minister Of foreign Affairs should certify the Original decision.
Arabic must be used to show all documents. The documents must be translated into English or indeed any language into Arabic by legal interpreters authorized by the UAE Ministry of Justice.
