Business Setup Officer

Job Type: Full-time, Contract (24 months)

Job Summary:

The Business Setup Officer is a key role responsible for guiding and facilitating the establishment of new business ventures. This position involves managing the entire setup process, ensuring strict compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and offering dedicated support to new business owners. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a comprehensive understanding of business regulations and startup procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Setup Coordination:

  • Assist clients in the complete process of establishing new businesses, including company registration, obtaining necessary licenses, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Prepare, review, and submit all required documentation for business registration and licensing.
  • Coordinate with government agencies, legal professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless business setup process.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure all business setups meet legal requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on compliance matters, including tax registration, health and safety regulations, and employment laws.

Client Support and Communication:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the business setup process.
  • Address client queries, provide clear guidance, and offer solutions to any challenges that arise.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and successful business launches.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

  • Maintain meticulous records of all business setup activities, including contracts, applications, and correspondence.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates for management on the status of ongoing setups and client feedback.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for enhancing the business setup process and propose innovative solutions to improve efficiency and client experience.
  • Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and best practices related to business setup.

Market Research:

  • Conduct thorough research on industry trends, market conditions, and the competitive landscape to provide clients with relevant insights and recommendations.
  • Assist clients in developing business plans and strategies that align with market opportunities.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in business setup, legal compliance, or a related role is highly desirable.
  • Strong familiarity with local business regulations and licensing processes.
